Eligibility

APPLICANTS MUST:

be the busines owner
have an ABN
be operating in the Mary Valley (Div 8 of the Gympie Regional Council Area)
support the objectives of the MVCOC
abide by the Members Code of Conduct
be nominated by two current financial members *who can also be Management Committee members for E-Applications.

Benefits

MEMBERS:

can vote on all MVCOC business at General or Annual meetings
can be elected to any position on the Management Committee
can host a MVCOC General meeting or networking event at their business premesis
will receive a 'Member Listing' on the Website Chamber page
will receive access to Business Development workshops, networking and training opportunities

Member Code of Conduct
Members of the Mary Valley Chamber of Commerce (MVCOC) agree to:

Support and promote the Objects and activities of the MVCOC, and cooperate with fellow members and upholding this Code of Conduct.
Agree to the MVCOC Constitution, policies, and any guidelines applicable to Chamber programs, events, or initiatives.
Conduct business and professional activities with honesty, integrity, fairness, and professionalism.
Maintain high ethical standards in the delivery of services and/or sale of products.
Conduct themselves in a manner that reflects positively on their business, the Chamber, fellow members, and the broader Mary Valley business community.
Respect the reputation, values, and standing of the MVCOC, and represent the Chamber in a professional and responsible manner.
Where reasonably possible, participate in Chamber functions, activities, and initiatives that support business growth and community development within the Mary Valley region.
Refrain from misleading, deceptive, discriminatory, unethical, or unlawful conduct in any business or Chamber-related activity.
Comply with all applicable Local, State, and Federal laws, regulations, licences, and statutory requirements relevant to their business or professional activities.
Treat Chamber Management Committee members, volunteers, staff, guests, and fellow members with respect and courtesy.
Avoid behaviour that may bring the MVCOC into disrepute or negatively impact the reputation or operations of the Chamber.
Acknowledge that failure to comply with this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or termination of membership.
